According to Eric’s Google Timeline on November 30, 2018:
- Eric leaves his parents house on foot at 8:34 pm
- He arrives at Ashley’s apartment at 8:39 pm, where he stays for 4 hours and 29 minutes.
- He then leaves the apartment at 1:08 am, when he decides to visit Bolan Tires (according to Ashley) to put air in her tires.
- Google Timeline does not register this business address (or any for that matter) in his location history. It just mentions “driving” for 21 minutes.
- Eric arrives back to Village Manor Apartments at 1:29 am, where he stays for another 37 minutes.
- At 2:06 am Eric walks home to his parent’s house. It takes him ~4 minutes, and he arrives at 2:09 am.

A few examples of how the story has changed over time:
April 22, 2022 - Ashley's interview on the H&S Podcast comes out. This is where she says he (Eric S.) was with her “pretty much all day” and that she knows “it was daytime. It was still sunlight.” H&S Podcast Season 3 Episode 3 (46:05) Sunset was 5:13 on 11/30/18 in Sturgis, MI
February 2, 2023 - “It took me until almost two years into this to come to the realization that I have blindly been alibi-ing him without question all that time. All because I knew FOR FACT he WAS with me that night. It never crossed my mind that he WASN'T WITH ME ALL 24 HOURS of November 30th... and that I can, obviously, ONLY account for him during the time he was in my presence. I never had any way of knowing what time he got to my place though.
It was only recently I managed to find an account of his that actually had its location history on.... and had some shit in it for the 30th. My place included. It shows him walking to my place, from his parent's. As he did often. Only, it wasn't the 30th. It was at 0130 December 1st. That rings true for me, because I know it was late when he was over. That's the first one been able to put a definite time on it.”

March 19, 2023 - Q: You said that you were Eric's alibi, do you remember for sure if he was with you all night or not? He turned crazy do you think he is capable of doing something to Britt?
A: At this point, yes. I do think he's capable. For some time now I've thought so, due to all the red flags over the years and behaviors. Lots of small things that have all added up.

July 12, 2023 - “…he was not with me every second. I cannot account for the time he was not at my place. He arrived at my place that evening. She looking at his Google location data, it does show him arriving at my place shortly before the time she went missing.
Just to be clear, Eric is NOT a suspect in either working theory of mine.”
I THOUGHT ERIC NEVER HAD HIS LOCATION ON...
So, what is going on here? Is this a screenshot of Ashley tracking Eric's location at the crash site? The metadata for this image probably says A LOT!
